It's back to school time for my Grandkids

Today is a big day for me and my grandkids. My Twin grandsons whom I've been watching since they where babies are going into the 4th grade. They are at the age where they are embarrassed of me and it kinda breaks my heart.. I guess kids have to have an image and I am not part of that.. I am an old lady to them:( Oh well I will have to move on. My two granddaughters are both going into the 1st grade. I am better about it then I was when they went into kindergarten:) This is the first year they have to be in school all day.. Pre school and Kindergarten were half days.. So now I need to find things to fill my days. They think I will be running down the street crying:) Not ...:) I plan to start scrapbooking and sharing it with other women..

Picture my life

Do you have lots of printed photo's but have not put them into scrapbooks yet? Well then this program is for you. The 4X6 slots make it so easy to put your standard size prints in.. Close to my heart does most the work for you.. Be as creative as you like with this. Make sure you use the journaling cards to add the who what and where. We need to try and tell the story.. Because when our kids, grandkids and future generations look back it would be nice to know who that picture is of. Just have FUN:)

Fun things I have been making

Made this shadow box for my sister in laws 4th grade class.. I think Children do better when they have a few rules:)
Here is another project I made
I saw this idea from when we where in NC.. A friend had something similar in her home and I thought I could make something like this.. Just used Mod Podge and put it on a painting canvas. We drove the blue ridge parkway to visit family.. What a beautiful drive.

Family

Been away this weekend visiting family in North Carolina.. I have never felt so loved . My husbands family is the most wonderful bunch of people I have ever met. The family is so close and very BIG. I come from a small family so being around a Big family was so exciting. I was like a kid in the candy jar.. Ate the best food since two of my brother in laws have resturants:) Now It is time to get back into my scrapbooking that is for sure.. I took so many pictures and I can not wait to get started putting some layouts together.. I am thinking about starting a few my crush books. Maybe one for each family group. So bare with me I will have somethings to show you real soon.. I actually was able to share my love for scrapbooking with the family and I believe I helped my sister in law with wanting to complete the wonderful Photo scrapbooks her Mother put together before she passed away.. Now she needs to do the journaling so the family can know who is who.. Lots of awesome pictures but no Who what and where's. Something I need to do too:) We had so much fun looking at old pictures of the kids. Oh well I need to run
Until you have been loved by a true southern family like the Hiatts you have not been Loved:)
